Gathering Together is amazing at CrosspointLA!

Hey, Church!

We can't wait to gather with you, our Church family, tomorrow @ 10:30 am! Then, we have the blessing of gathering for baptisms at the beach @ 4pm (details below).

Worshiping God together is important, not because Pastor Phillip loves to see you (although that certainly is encouraging to him), but because God says it is! What a blessing to part of the body of Christ. We strengthen one another and as a result love one another.

“These things I command you, that ye love one another.” John 15:17

“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” 1 Chronicles 16:29

Throughout the New Testament, we see the church meeting together as much as possible, not because they HAD to, but because they wanted to be together. They realized that Christ had placed them in the church for spiritual growth, encouragement, and evangelism. They would benefit from the body as they invested in the body for the glory of Christ.

They were faced with persecution for gathering and proclaiming the truth of Jesus. They had critics opposing their decision to follow Christ. Regardless, they stayed close to Christ and they gathered together to worship Him. They recognized the church is better together!

While we are not at risk of crucifixion or beheading for gathering together, we certain face opposition. However, with the careful, cautious measures we are taking, we are able to gather and be at least as safe (and perhaps much safer) as even going to the grocery store or work!

Many have yet to come out of quarantine, and we really do understand. Could I encourage you to come out and join us in fellowship and worship tomorrow? Your spirit will be strengthened as you interact with our church family. We too are better together!

Important stuff 😉:

  • Who are you going to bless this week? Reach out to one another via text, call, or FaceTime, and get together with an individual to share Christ’s love (Christian or non-Christian).  😊  Satan would love to divide people during this time. Be careful to be looking out for others and sharing Jesus with people who don’t know Him.
  • Let us know if you or someone you know has a need.🙏
  • Let’s remember to give financially through our tithes and offerings so the work of the church can continue. You can give online @ crosspoint.la or through the app. If you would prefer to text your monetary gift, simply text GIVE to (424) 343-2378. You can also mail checks to:
