Keeping Jesus at the center ✝️
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
At Christmas time, it’s so easy to get caught up in the seasonal shopping, the parties, and making magical moments for our kids that, even as Christians, we forget to keep Jesus at the center.
For a child of God, every moment should be about seeing God’s will done on earth. Presents and Christmas traditions aren’t bad, but one of the things that McKenzie and I and our boys have cherished the most over the years, is a simple Christmas. We don’t do a bunch of fancy presents or Christmas debt. We’re more interested in the kids knowing this life doesn’t revolve around them, but it should revolve around Jesus and what He says.
Jesus is the giver of life, peace, and joy. Our frazzled lives aren’t a selling point that Jesus brings peace. Slow down. Be intentional. Make what Jesus says what is truly important.

December 18
Children's Christmas Program
Our annual Children's Christmas program is coming up. Each year, we take time during the morning service for the kids to sing songs and quote Bible verses about the birth of our Savior. This is always a wonderful time to invite family and friends.
Parents: Please have your kids checked in and with their class by 10:15 so there is no delay in the program.
December 18
Heart for the House Offering
This Sunday we’re going to have a special Heart for the House offering. We are praying and believing for God to do big things through us this day! We want to make this an annual, year-end offering where we step out in faith to give towards both what God is doing in our church right now + giving for what’s ahead…our future building! God is blessing our church in a special way, and we want to be ready for that next step whenever He opens the door!🚪🙌
Here is what you can do to prepare your heart:
1. Think - Reflect on all God has done in your heart and through our church. Consider how many people still need to be reached with the gospel in our community.
2. Pray - There is no certain amount you or your family needs to give. We believe God will reveal His heart for generosity as you seek Him.
3. Commit - No matter the size of your contribution, there is power and blessing when God’s people commit together.
4. Give - After you have thought it through, prayed, and committed, (as Paul said to the church in Corinth) now it is time to do it. Give as God leads you.
December 18
Volunteer Christmas Party - 5:00 pm
Every year, we get to celebrate the season with our volunteers. If you volunteer for any ministry here at Crosspoint, we want you to come and be a part of this fun time.
We will have a "white elephant" gift exchange which is always a ton of fun. (Who will get the "Climbing Santa" this year?!? 😆) There is no obligation to participate in the gift exchange, but if you plan to participate, please bring a gift.
