Harvest 🌾🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️
“But when he (Jesus) saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38
God has called us to work in His field. So many people need to know the message of Jesus, or they need someone to love them enough to take time, be patient, and disciple them.
There is such a need in this world for people to know the Savior. He calls on us to pray for laborers— people who are willing to get dirty and tired working in His fields. Jesus made it clear the problem wasn’t lack of people to reach. It was the need for willing and faithful people to carry out the work.
When I was called to come to  California to plant a church, you know what I was doing? I was praying for God to send someone out here to reach people with the Gospel. He said to me, “Go!”
This prayer for laborers will always get answered. God is faithful to call laborers and to send them. We must not worry about the details. We only need to be faithful to pray for this one prayer request that Jesus gave.
“Lord of the Harvest, would you send more laborers?”

‍Come, invite friends, volunteer to show some love to our Crosspoint kids and our community. Our theme is “On the Farm”!

‍Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission - 7:30 pm
‍On the first Thursday of each month, we get to go to skid row and serve at the rescue mission. We conduct a church service complete with worship songs and a Gospel message, and we assist their staff in serving a meal to those who attend that night.We would love for you to go with us!
