Light > Darkness 🕯️
1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.
This week, many will focus on darkness. As Christians, we have a different perspective. It is a perspective of redemption.
We are children of the day. God says:
1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
We have the honor and blessing of shining the light that God has given us, as His children, each and every day. Not one day has to be wasted. Not one day has to be filled with fear or darkness for the child of God. We are free!
As believers in Jesus, we choose to follow Jesus in redeeming what belongs to Him. This week, let's redeem a day that has been "claimed" as a day for darkness. Let's be a light to those who live in darkness.
Every day belongs to God, and we belong to Him.

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission
November 7
Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Membership Class
November 8
Join us from 6:30 to 9 pm for our upcoming Membership Class at Pastor Phillip and McKenzie's house. Dinner will be provided during the class. Please note that there will be no childcare available.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
November 18
We are so excited about packing shoeboxes to send the Gospel and gifts of love to boys and girls around the world.
Everyone can be involved in this effort. We ask that you:
1 - fill the box completely
2 - pay the $10 shipping fee
3 - pray for the child who will receive the box
Please bring packed shoeboxes back no later than November 18.

Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - AWANA
Our discipleship program for kids happens on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Bring your kids to join the fun and learn God's Word! (Check in starts at 6:45 PM)
Growth Groups
Our Growth Groups are a wonderful way to get connected to our church family. Your Group Leader will let you know when and where your Group will meet each month.
