God is at Work!
One of our favorite songs is Waymaker because it reminds us that "Even when I don't see it, You're working. Even when I don't feel it, You're working! You never stop. You never stop working. You never stop. You never stop working."
God works even when we don't see it. He has a purpose even when we don't understand. When we hurt, he gives grace so that we can be shaped and transformed to reflect more of His holiness and love.
So what does He want from us during these times of trouble? What do we do through the storms of life?
Trust Him! I know it is easier said than done, but once you do, you can see Him come through. When He does, our faith increases. That makes it easier to trust Him the next time - and there will be a next time.
In John 6:16-21, we see the disciples out on the sea when a storm comes up. They were rowing and rowing for hours, with no real progress. Then someone sees something out on the water. It appears to be a ghost! They cry out in fear.
Jesus says to them, "It is I; be not afraid." (John 6:20)
He allowed it. He used it. He was working and in control, even though they didn't see Him.
Charles Spurgeon was a pastor whom God used greatly in the mid to late 1800's. He would struggle regularly with illness and with bouts of depression. He once said, “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart.”
Consider these verses:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

If Opportunity knocked are we ready?
We have been praying for some time now that God would bless us with a building of our own, and we believe He will do it in His timing and in His way. There is currently a property on the market that would be a tremendous asset to our ministry if the Lord provided it for us. However, a downpayment and the monthly payments for a property like this would be out of our reach at this time.
We should prepare for an opportunity by setting aside money and giving generously to a building fund. Would you ask the Lord what He would lead you to give (above your tithe) to help us prepare for the opportunity when God brings it our way?
God is able, but He expects us to be obedient!
LIVESTREAM
We will be streaming the 10:30 am service LIVE on our Facebook page and on our YouTube channel.
Important stuff 😉:
- Who are you going to bless this week? "Exhort one another daily" is a great encouragement to us all. It helps us stay close in fellowship and protects us against the attacks of the enemy who wants to divide us.
- Let us know if you or someone you know has a need.🙏
