Mountain Moving Faith🏔️
“Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:19-21
The verses above are powerful. Many of us have practiced this type of faith. We’ve seen God move and work in miraculous ways. But, why doesn’t God always answer our faith-filled requests with “Yes”?
We see the promise that God can do ANYTHING even the impossible! And we get to see Him work like that when we pray in faith and fast. So why does God sometimes choose to answer these impossible prayers, and why does He not?
We must align our will with His will. He knows and sees the future. He sees what’s best, and we can trust that, even though we don’t always understand, God is good and faithful. Because, He truly is.
Let’s pray for our hearts to line up with His heart and trust that God can do anything! Is there something you need to pray and fast about? If so, don’t delay. Do it. Trust that God hears and answers. If you have questions about prayer and fasting, message us here.
