Humble 🙇♂️
1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
If we are lacking in humility towards God, we will seek to be in control which puts us on a fast track to anxiety, fear, and even anger or disappointment in God and others.
When we submit our will to God’s, trusting His Word and His plan for our lives, He floods us with His peace.
In our submission, we recognize Him as God. He takes our burdens, worries, cares— basically our anxieties. He trades it for His peace, strength, and wisdom.
What an amazing trade! 🙌
Why not trust Him?

Month of Prayer
Prayer is powerful! There are promises related to prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. Sometimes, we are thanking Him. Sometimes, we are worshipping Him. Sometimes, we are asking Him to do something. Always, we must be trusting Him.
Through the month of September, we are calling our church family to pray. To help, we have provided a calendar for you to join us in praying for one specific thing each day.

AWANA
Starting October 2
Our weekly discipleship for kids and junior high students is returning soon. This year, it will be on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
This is a wonderful time for your kids to learn Biblical truths and memorize Bible verses all while having fun together!

Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
