Peace be Still 🌊
Mark 4:35-41 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side." 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
What happens when God leads you into a storm? Do you have a tendency to panic? Do you think that you missed something along the way?
You may think, “Maybe Jesus didn’t actually tell me to do this. It seems too hard. It’s not safe.”
But then, you remember that He did. He told you to move forward. You had His Word on it.
When the storms a life come, we can trust the One who is leading us. Don’t panic. Remember, you have the Creator of the Universe living inside you. Sometimes He speaks peace be still to the storm, and He always speaks peace to us. Follow His directions. Have faith in the storms. Keep your eyes on Jesus as you follow His lead.

Month of Prayer
Prayer is powerful! There are promises related to prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. Sometimes, we are thanking Him. Sometimes, we are worshipping Him. Sometimes, we are asking Him to do something. Always, we must be trusting Him.
Through the month of September, we are calling our church family to pray. To help, we have provided a calendar for you to join us in praying for one specific thing each day.

Our weekly discipleship for kids and junior high students is returning soon. This year, it will be on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
This is a wonderful time for your kids to learn Biblical truths and memorize Bible verses all while having fun together!

We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
