Back to School 🏫 / Back to Church ⛪️
It is hard to believe that students are already going back to school after a summer packed with fun! We prayed for our students last night at our prayer team meeting. We asked God to help them be a light and that He would protect them.
Maybe with summer travels, and even sickness, you have gotten out of the habit of faithfully attending church. Remember, we are part of the body of Christ. Each one has a special purpose and placement in the body. Scripture tells us that you need the church and the church needs you!
Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
In other words, He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. We are those parts, and we strengthen one another!
As we get back to our regular Growth Group format, and other ministries to reach out into our community (including Good News Clubs with Child Evangelism Fellowship - click here to request information), plan to be a part of as much as you possibly can. We have some pretty exciting things going on even though the summer has ended. We are looking forward to how God is going to use us to help one another grow throughout the fall season!

Community Outreach - Saturday @ 10:00 am
Jesus said, "Go make disciples of all nations." He told the church they would receive power and would be witnesses in their hometown, the surrounding areas, and even across the world.
On August 20, we are going through a few neighborhoods inviting people to come to church. We will be joined by a group from Liberty Baptist Church in Newport Beach.
Come help us fulfill another aspect of what we as a church are called and commissioned to do! We will meet at Victory Park on the east side of the main parking lot.

Are you a wise manager?
Scripture teaches us that everything belongs to God; we are just the managers of His blessings and resources. As the owner of all, He tells us that we are to give Him 10% of everything He blesses us to receive. This is often called the tithe.
God also encourages us to go above the tithe and invest His resources into His work. This is what you may hear called "offerings." Offerings are usually given as extra gifts to the general fund of a local church, or they are designated to support world missions efforts or to grow a building fund.
These are the ways God has chosen to provide for the financial needs of the church as we endeavor to accomplish His purposes. He even promises to bless us in proportion to our giving. (See Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, and Philippians 4:15-19)
