Hello, Church family!
With all of the constant changes in the world, it’s easy to get to forget what’s important or how to accomplish the most important things. Jesus's last command is still Crosspoint’s first priority — preach the Gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). It’s been called, by many, the Great Commission.
Over the next couple of months, you will see new opportunities to put this into practice right here in our community. Prepare your heart to be part of this by seeking the Lord in prayer and Bible reading.
If you haven’t been through our Starting Point membership class and Continue discipleship, be sure to signup below. It will help you be better prepared as we all work together for the faith of the Gospel. Lord, Your will be done in LA as it is in Heaven.

If you have not attended a Starting Point/membership class with Pastor Phillip, now's the time! We know it has been a long time since the last one (due to COVID). Since there are quite a few people who need to attend, we are offering two options— one on consecutive Wednesdays in August 11, 18, 25 (attend all 3 during the 7 pm Growth Group hour) or one Saturday, September 11 from 10 am - 1 pm (do it all in one day).
Learn what it means to be a member of the local church. You’re part of a body, and we are all working together for the faith of the Gospel. How do you fit in, and how can you make a difference right here in our church and community?

Christian Life Coaching
A great next step for everyone is to partner up with a coach who can walk with you through your next steps. The Bible word for this is discipleship.

August 12-14: We are going camping at Quaking Aspen Campground in the Sequoia National Forest! Be sure to secure your spot soon. If you don’t want to camp in a tent, you can reserve a yurt on your own here https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232827, or you can camp in our group camping spot (first 50 people) for $10 per person, total, for the two nights. August 29: Baptism Sunday! There are several who have stepped forward saying they have accepted Christ as their Savior and are wanting to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism.🙌 We will be baptizing that Sunday at both the 10:30am and 5pm gatherings. If you have accepted Christ and plan to get baptized that day, you can let us know right here.

- We have started a Prayer Team! If you would like to be added to the team and receive notifications of specific prayer requests so you can "bear one another's burdens," simply text PRAY to 855-955-4585.
- Who are you going to bless this week? Reach out to one another via text, call, or FaceTime, and get together with an individual to share Christ’s love (Christian or non-Christian). 😊 Satan would love to divide us. Be careful to be looking out for others and sharing Jesus with people who don’t know Him.
