Psalm 100:2-5 Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations.
We get to serve the Lord!
What an honor that the God of the universe made you and I for a special purpose — to bring Him glory by making Him known!
As you get to know God and live out the purpose He created you for, God uses you each and every day (even the days that seem monotonous) to accomplish His will in your life and in the lives of others that you touch.
McKenzie and I are always in awe by testimonies we hear almost everyday about how God is using you, our church family, to make a difference for God’s Kingdom.
Let’s pray that each of us will be aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives. God wants to use us to share His truth in this generation so serve Him with joy!

Sit & Serve Kickoff
What is Sit & Serve?
We are starting a second Sunday morning service. The service times will be 9:30 am and 11:30 am. Sit & Serve is an opportunity for each person to sit in one service and serve in one service every Sunday.
When does this start?
Sit & Serve starts on August 4 and will continue every week.
Why are we doing this?
God has blessed our church family as we have yielded to Him. As He changes our lives, others have seen it. As we invite them to church, their lives are being changed too. That growth has resulted in a full auditorium on a regular basis.
We want our guests and members to know that we want them to come and have prepared a place for them to attend the service and for Jesus to work in their lives. This allows us the opportunity to reach more people in our community thus making a difference for the Kingdom of God.
This also provides more opportunities for our church family to get involved in serving others. As we serve with a right heart and a right spirit, we grow in our walk with Jesus and our love for Him and others.
How can I be involved in Sit and Serve?
- Choose what service time will work best for you and your family to attend - 9:30 am or 11:30 am.
- Sit together in that service and follow Jesus however He leads, making changes in your life as the Lord directs.
- Whatever service you choose, we invite you to find a place to serve during the other service time. (i.e. - serve in the 9:30am service and sit in the 11:30 am service)
Can I choose to sit in either service?
Yes! We encourage you to choose either one of the two services options to sit in every week.
Do I need to serve every week?
No. We ask that you pray and ask God how He wants you to commit to serve. He may want you to serve every week, every other week, or once a month.
Just know when He calls us to do something, He gives us His strength to do it.
We also understand that certain life seasons may make it difficult to serve every week. From time to time, we may all have a seasons where we can’t do as much as we’d like to.
As we all work together, the needs for each ministry will be met, and we will have the opportunity for breaks during busy seasons in our personal lives.
As we develop a rotation for our teams, there may be some areas of service that would benefit from a person committing to serving in that role every week.
Will there be childcare in both services?
Yes, There will be childcare in both services. Our current plan is as follows:
The 9:30 am service will have childcare through age 5. This will include a specific Bible teaching time for ages 3-5.
The 11:30 am service will have childcare through 2nd grade and will include children’s church for ages 4 and up.
How can I get involved in a ministry?
There are many areas where we can serve together. Here is a list of just a few:

Childcare through age 5 is available. Check-in for childcare starts at 10:15 am
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Growth Group
Come each Wednesday to enjoy a Bible study and discussion with others in our Growth Groups. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
