Amazing Faith 😲🤯🙌🏼
Mark 6:5-6 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
Matthew 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Throughout the New Testament, we see Jesus going from place to place and working miracles, changing lives, and calling people to repentance and faith. As He passed through His hometown, He could not do many miracles because or their lack of faith. On the flip side, there were some men and women who believed - like the centurion who asked Jesus to speak the word and his servant would be healed.
In both of these situations, both in His hometown and with the centurion, Jesus marveled. He marveled at the lack of faith in one case and the abundance of faith in the other. The people who knew Him best had become so familiar with Him that they did not believe in Him. Because of their lack of faith, they missed out on seeing what He could really do. The centurion believed Jesus and was able to see his servant healed.
It would be pretty neat to have such faith that it amazed Jesus. What do you think He could do if we had that kind of faith? Will you trust His wisdom and power to work in your life? In your family? In your relationships? In your workplace? In your situation?
Can we as a church trust Him to do His work in our church family? In our community? In Pasadena? In LA?
May His will be done here as it is in Heaven!

SoCal Harvest
We get to go serve Jesus and encourage new believers in their walk with the Lord at SoCal Harvest. Some of the top Christian bands will be there leading us as we worship Jesus, and Pastor Greg Laurie will deliver a powerful Gospel message. Mark your calendars and plan to go with us.
