New!
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We all enjoy receiving something new - a gift, a purchase, a reward. There is just something about new things that attract our attention and draw our desires.
God tells us that the moment we trust Jesus as our Savior, we are made new. The record of all our wrongs is gone. When God sees us, He does not see the old, ugly sin scarred life that we once lived. Instead, He sees His beloved children who are a joy to His heart and are growing to be more like Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
In this new life, we have a new family. God is our Father and other believers are our brothers and sisters. We have a new freedom. We no longer have to serve sin, but instead, we are free to serve Jesus and encourage others. We have a new future. Heaven is our home. We will be with our Savior, Jesus Christ, for eternity.
Today, I am thankful for this new life. Let’s take some time today to thank Jesus for making us new.

Membership Class
Join us for our upcoming Membership Class on April 26th from 6:30 to 9 pm at Pastor Phillip and McKenzie's house. Dinner will be provided during the class. Please note that there will be no childcare available.
