True Worship 🧎‍♀️‍➡️🤲🧎‍♂️‍➡️
Psalms 27:4, 8 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.
In Psalm 27:4, David expresses his deep desire to dwell in the presence of the Lord, seeking to gaze upon His beauty and understand His nature. This longing reflects God's call for us to seek His face, as seen in Psalm 27:8, where the heart responds to God’s invitation.
Our true desire, like David’s, is to live in communion with God, experiencing His beauty and holiness. How can this be possible though? For David, even before Jesus' sacrifice, it was through God's mercy and steadfast love that he could approach the Lord in worship. David’s understanding of God’s mercy allowed him to continually come before God, even in repentance, and experience His presence.
Romans 12:1 reveals how we, too, can respond to God’s mercy. It calls us to present ourselves as living sacrifices, fully surrendered to God, as our true form of worship. This surrender is not about our ability to achieve holiness, but about recognizing that it is only through God’s mercy and love that we can stand before Him.
Our worship flows from this recognition, and through surrender, we encounter God's goodness and experience a life of holiness. As we reflect on Romans 12:1, we are reminded that it is God's mercy, not our works, that makes worship possible, and from this place, true thankfulness arises in our hearts.

Disaster Relief
‍The Eaton fire devastated Altadena, Pasadena, and the surrounding areas. Many homes were destroyed and families displaced. Crosspoint has been blessed to serve our community by distributing waters, delivering air purifiers, giving clothes, as well as providing gift cards and some financial assistance.
We now have the opportunity to partner with Samaritan's Purse to help families clean their homes and search for personal items on properties that burned. If you would like to be a part of this effort, go to spvolunteer.org or call 626-808-6653.
