Pray and Go 🙏🧍♀️🏃♂️
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses.
I want to share something with you that I read today:
God does not intend for us to keep the Good News to ourselves. We are meant to share our faith, to tell others about what God has done in our lives through Jesus Christ.
But Satan will do everything within his great, but limited, power to keep the truth of the gospel from spreading. He has always hated the truth because there is no truth in him. Simply stated, the father of lies does not want us sharing the truth. Sadly, at least in the North American context, we often see Satan winning these battles in our churches with lies to keep us silent— not sharing our faith.
- “I don’t have time.”
- “I don’t want to offend people.”
- “I might get rejected.”
- “Evangelism is not my spiritual gift.”
- “That’s what we pay the pastor to do.”
- “I don’t need to talk about Jesus; I’ll just show my love to others.”
You see, God designed us to be bearers of the truth about His Son, Jesus. And He intends for us to carry out the Great Commission (telling others about Jesus and discipling them). If you are a Christian (part of the church— the bride of Christ), you are a bearer of the Good News.
From Acts 2 to Revelation 3, the New Testament is all about the local church. It is the story of local churches making a difference in the world. It is the story of messy and messed-up churches still being used by God. It is the story of sinners like you and me being saved by grace. Church, it is not too late to be part of our Pray & Go initiative. It just started today! Jump in! Learn how you can be a person who shares their faith. It isn't hard. You have been given God's Holy Spirit power.

Easter @ CrosspointLA
Invite your friends and family to come with you as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will start with breakfast that will be served at 10 am followed by an exciting outdoor service at 10:30 am.
Meanwhile, the kids will enjoy their own church service in the auditorium. They will have fun as they sing songs, play games, hunt for eggs, and (most importantly) hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We’re thrilled to invite you to our 4th annual ladies' retreat! This is always a special time to head out of town to reflect, worship God, study His Word, build friendships, and just get refreshed. Come with us!
