Making a real difference
Matthew 10:39-40, 42 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
We’re continuing to feature missionaries who made a profound impact for Christ! There lives inspire us to know the difference that one person can make when they are completely committed to Jesus Christ.
Amy Carmichael, a British missionary to India, dedicated her life to serving the most vulnerable and marginalized communities, particularly young girls at risk of being forced into temple prostitution. Arriving in India in 1895, she initially worked with the local church, but soon became deeply involved in rescuing girls from exploitation in Hindu temples. She founded the Dohnavur Fellowship in southern India, an organization that provided a safe haven for these children, offering them education, care, and a Christian upbringing. Over the course of her 56 years in India, she rescued hundreds of girls and created a lasting legacy of compassion and service.
Carmichael's work extended beyond rescue missions, as she also established schools, orphanages, and medical care for the local population. She immersed herself in Indian culture, adopting local customs and dressing in traditional clothing to better relate to the people she served. Her writings, which included books like Things As They Are and If, inspired countless people around the world. Despite facing physical challenges and never returning to England, she continued her missionary work until her death in 1951. Amy Carmichael’s life was a testament to her deep Christian faith, her unwavering commitment to the welfare of others, and her profound impact on both India and the global Christian community.
Disaster Relief
The Eaton fire devastated Altadena, Pasadena, and the surrounding areas. Many homes were destroyed and families displaced. Crosspoint has been blessed to serve our community by distributing waters, delivering air purifiers, giving clothes, as well as providing gift cards and some financial assistance.
We now have the opportunity to partner with Samaritan's Purse to help families clean their homes and search for personal items on properties that burned. If you would like to be a part of this effort, go to spvolunteer.org or call 626-808-6653.

Membership Class
February 21
Join us from 6:30 to 9 pm for our upcoming Membership Class at Pastor Phillip and McKenzie's house. Dinner will be provided during the class. Please note that there will be no childcare available.

Leadership Workshop
March 22 from 9 am -12 pm
We are excited to gather for a time of fellowship and training from one of my favorite pastors and greatest friends, Pastor Cary Schmidt.
Cary is the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington, CT. He has authored several books (done, Stop Trying, Real Christianity, Steady Strength, and more) that have been a tremendous help to many people.
If you are serving - especially in a leadership capacity, this is one event that you don't want to miss. Breakfast and childcare will be provided.

This Month's Featured Ministry Team
Each month this year, we are featuring a different ministry team. We are grateful for the way each team serves so faithfully to help us accomplish the ministry to which God has called us.
Media Team
We often hear from guests that they watch a few services online before attending in person. Our media team works hard to make sure our livestream and audio both in house and online are the best. We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - AWANA
Our exciting discipleship program for kids continues on Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Bring your kids to join the fun and learn God's Word! (Check in starts at 6:45 PM)

Our Growth Groups are a wonderful way to get connected to our church family. Your Group Leader will let you know when and where your Group will meet each month.
