Trials produce patience
James 1:3 “knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
Almost everyone needs more patience, but who really wants to go through a trial to get it? You might say, “Not me!”
But, God is faithful; and He knows exactly what we need. Isn't it wonderful to know that God loves us enough to use everything in our lives - including the trials - to help us grow and mature as children of God?
Do you need more patience with your kids, God will help you. Do you need patience with a coworker, a spouse, a sibling, or a friend from church? God will grow you and test you.
He wants us to grow to be beautiful reflections of Him. He knows that’s not possible without— you guessed it— patience.
Don’t be scared! The trial is a perfect way to get and keep your eyes on Jesus.
So, if you need patience, God is sure to deliver, and when He does, rejoice! You’re about to shine a little brighter for Him.

Annual Business Meeting
All members are encouraged to attend our annual business meeting. We will discuss the blessings we have seen over the last year and the budget for ministry throughout 2023. This will be a brief meeting at the church during halftime of the Super Bowl game.

Marriage Weekender (for singles too!)
You have been asking for it! Here it is! the 2023 Marriage Weekender at Canyon Ridge Baptist Church is coming up.
Let's go and enjoy a wonderful weekend of growth and fellowship!
Check-In opens at 5:15 PM on Friday, March 3rd with light snacks in the courtyard. Childcare tickets are available for grades 6 and below, but we encourage you to find other options if possible to take the greatest advantage of this time with your spouse! The final session will end on Saturday afternoon.
Registration does not include your hotel room.
Singles, come learn what a godly marriage is all about. Prepare your heart and mind now for when God brings that special someone your way. Your cost will be half of a couple's registration. Find a single friend (of the same gender) to go with you and share a room.
