Missionaries frequently leave behind comfortable lives to serve others, embodying the selflessness that Christ taught. Their courage in the face of adversity—whether it’s cultural barriers, physical danger, or personal sacrifice—provides a powerful example of how to live out our faith with passion and perseverance. They remind us that God's call can lead us into unexpected places, urging us to trust Him fully, regardless of the circumstances.

Because of this, we will be featuring one short missionary story every week for the next few weeks. We pray these will give you a desire to read more about their lives and find encouragement and strength to live out the life God has called you to!
Gladys Aylward was a missionary in the early 20th-century in the country of China. Despite significant challenges including cultural barriers, language difficulties, and life-threatening circumstances, she trusted deeply in God's provision and led over 100 orphans to safety through perilous terrain during a time of war. Her unwavering reliance on Christ and her commitment to serving the needy stand as a powerful testimony to living out one's faith, even when the path is filled with danger.
Her legacy challenges every believer to embrace the call to missions—whether crossing continents or serving in local communities—with no hesitation or reservation. Gladys' life is a reminder that the mission field is not defined by geography but by the heart's willingness to follow Jesus, take bold steps in faith, and act in love.

Disaster Relief
‍The Eaton fire devastated Altadena, Pasadena, and the surrounding areas. Many homes were destroyed and families displaced. Crosspoint has been blessed to serve our community by distributing waters, delivering air purifiers, giving clothes, as well as providing gift cards and some financial assistance.
We now have the opportunity to partner with Samaritan's Purse to help families clean their homes and search for personal items on properties that burned. If you would like to be a part of this effort, go to spvolunteer.org or call 626-808-6653.

Membership Class
February 21
Join us from 6:30 to 9 pm for our upcoming Membership Class at Pastor Phillip and McKenzie's house. Dinner will be provided during the class. Please note that there will be no childcare available.

Coffee Team
‍We are thankful for our coffee team! Each week, they greet us with happy faces and joyful spirits as they serve so faithfully!Coffee, tea, and snacks are available for your convenience each week from 9:00 - 9:30 am and 11:00 - 11:30 am.

We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - AWANA
Our exciting discipleship program for kids continues on Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Bring your kids to join the fun and learn God's Word! (Check in starts at 6:45 PM)

Our Growth Groups are a wonderful way to get connected to our church family. Your Group Leader will let you know when and where your Group will meet each month.
