Full surrender 🙌🏳️
Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Acts 26:16-19 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
Is Jesus Lord of your life? I’m not saying are you saved; but rather, are you “allowing” Him to be Lord only in certain areas in your life? If we have only granted Jesus authority in certain areas, He is an assistant manager. He’s not really in charge.
We must yield everything to Jesus and put ourselves in full surrender to His Lordship.
Does He truly call the shots, or do I retain veto power? Sometimes it is hard to recognize this in our own lives. We really need to search our heart.
I’m so grateful for the ministry of the Holy Spirit Who will show us any areas not yet surrendered to His authority.
Surrender goes against our sinful human nature. I guess that is why Paul spoke of death to self and the flesh.
“Jesus, I want to be fully surrendered to You. I am sure there are areas of my life where I have retained control. Please reveal these to me. I truly want Your will to be done in me as it is in Heaven.”

We are kicking off the year by connecting with our Lord and Savior in a powerful way - demonstrating (and being reminded of) our dependence on Him through prayer and fasting. See the fasting recommendations (above) for help and encouragement through these important, spiritually sharpening days.

All members are encouraged to attend our annual business meeting. We will discuss the blessings we have seen over the last year and the budget for ministry throughout 2023. This meeting will follow a brief break after the morning service.
